Police hunting for two men following an armed robbery at the Co-op in New Street, Dordon have arrested a man and a woman in connection with this incident but continue to appeal for information to locate a second male suspect.
The incident happened at 11.20am on Wednesday, 6 February when two men entered the store and threatened staff with a shotgun and a knife before leaving with cash and cigarettes.
They fled the scene in what officers believe was a silver Peugeot.
A 38-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman from Birmingham have since been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.
Police are trying to locate a second male who is described as being white, in his 20s with short brown hear and wearing a black jacket. He was carrying a rucksack.
Detective Inspector Paul Thompson from Warwickshire Police CID said: "This was a terrifying ordeal for the staff in the store. Investigations are ongoing and we continue to appeal to the public for information that could help us to locate the second male suspect.
"We would therefore like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who has any dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident or saw the silver Peugeot in the surrounding area."
