Two men have been arrested after Class A drugs were seized by police in Lichfield.
Officers from Staffordshire Police stopped a black BMW on London Road at around 10.50pm on Sunday night (30 December) as part of an intelligence-led drugs operation.
After a search, a quantity of a substance believed to be heroin was discovered, along with more than £600 in cash and a number of mobile phones.
A 28-year-old man, from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug and possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply.
A 19-year-old man, also from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.
They both remain in custody and enquiries are on-going.
