Police investigating a knife-point robbery in Stapenhill have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
At around 4.15 pm on Friday (7th June), a man went into Decorum and Co hairdressers on Main St, Stapenhill and approached the woman owner of the salon. He was armed with what is believed to be a kitchen knife and demanded the cash from the till. Although unhurt, the woman was extremely shocked and needed medical assistance from paramedics.
The offender is described as white, about 6ft 3ins tall and of skinny build. He was wearing a beige coloured jacket with the hood up, light coloured jeans, trainers and had a scarf covering his face. He also wore dark gloves. The bike he rode off on was a blue mountain bike.
A number of people were passing the scene at the time so officers would like to hear from anyone they have not already spoken to who may have dashcam or CCTV footage or who witnessed anything which may help the investigation.
